Oh well, Antonio would figure out who the person was later. He just couldn't put the ring back down, though.
"Excuse me sir, I'll take one of these!" And he showed the booth owner the ring still on his finger.
"Ah, for that special someone, is it?" The owner gave Antonio a grin and told him the price, and was promptly handed the appropriate amount by Antonio.
Someone...special? These rings were made for girls, and if the owner had meant a special girl, then there wasn't really a special girl in his life he'd like to give this ring to. There was someone else more fitting of this ring, wasn't there? Someone like...
Wait a second. Where'd Felicidad go? Antonio groaned. Pleasedon't let him get into trouble again, he prayed to whomever up above, and dashed off to find the Pokemon. He didn't have to look too far though. Felicidad was just a couple sprints ahead, with some...Charmander? A Charmander that actually looked kind of familiar.
"Squir...tle?" The look in the Pokemon's eyes seemed to ask the other Pokemon 'W-would you like my tomato?'
In actuality, Felicidad was...behaving himself as he shyly offered the Charmander his tomato after cleaning it off with a little squirt of his water gun. This feeling was kind of foreign to Felicidad. When was he ever shy like this around other Pokemon?! And even when he acted coy, it was all only an act, and it was usually to nab the attention of cute human girls!

Romano was debating buying a few of the sweet treats, but there were many other Tomato-like treats around, and he didn't have enough money to spend on treets to justify buying both this and tomato treats. Speaking of Tomatoes...
Where was Tomato? Last he knew she was standing by his feet, and now she had just disapeared. She didn't run off often, and when she did, it was to get food, or becasue she saw something. He started looking around her, and quickly found her a few yards away...with a Squirtle. Romano wondered why she was with some (Stupid looking) water pokemon. Romano was kind of against them.
"Char-Charmader." She nodded her head, the look in her eyes saying 'I-I'd like that very much.' Tomato was liking the water pokemon more each second she spent with him. "Charmander-Mander Chaaaar." which meant 'My name's Tomato, what is yours?' in Poke-language.

Antonio was just thinking about another long lecture to Felicidad on the consequences of running off like that again as he called out to the Pokemon. Unfortunately, Felicidad didn't seem to notice. If Antonio didn't know any better, he'd say that his Pokemon was totally smitten with the one next to it. It was so buhyoo~ cute that the half formed lecture just died in his brain.
But then he saw someone else stride up to the two Pokemon before he could reach Felicidad, and he looked none too happy about what was going on between them.
Hey. Antonio knew that person. It was..."Romanooo!!" Antonio shouted, quickening his pace to in order to reach Romano before he ran away or something again.
Felicidad could have sworn that someone had called his name, but all thoughts about that were blocked out when the Charmander told him her name. Tomato~ He liked tomatoes. And he was starting to really like Tomato, too.
"Squirrrrrtle squirtle! Squirtle squirt." Which translated to: 'That's a pretty name! Mine's Felicidad.'
And to further turn on the charm, he babbled on some more in Poke-language, telling her "Your tail flame is brighter than all the lanterns here!"

Romano had walked over to get Tomato, wondering why she felt the need to go see a Squirtle. That's when he heard a voice call out his name. He looked over and he saw Antonio almost running towards him.
"W-What do you want?" He stammered. He didn't want to try to talk to Antoino again...especially in public when Tomato was acting strange.
Tomato knew if her skin wasn't orange (and if it was possible) that comment would have made her blush, if that was possible for pokemon. She answered him in the Poke-language, 'T-thank you, and your shell is shininer then the brightest stars'. The comment about her flame was extreamly nice, in her eyes. She was starting to like Felicidad, a lot.

Antonio was all out of breath when he had finally caught up to Romano.
"L-look Romano," he said between pants, trying to catch his breath. "About what I said to you back in Miliumis. I know I can't take back what I said. But you know Romano, I like you because you're Romano! You are cute, and you're lovable to me in your own way!"
He dug around in his pocket for the ring he had purchased not a full five minutes earlier, laid in the center of his palm, and presented it to the boy in front of him.
"Here. This is for you. To tell you I'm sorry for everything. Will you still be my henchman?"
While that went on....
Tomato's comment made Felicidad feel warm from head to toe, so warm, he'd probably be spitting some warm water if he were to use his water gun right now. He'd never wanted to look at another Pokemon again, not when his eyes were so full of stars and...Tomato...
But he was snapped out of his starry eyes he saw who he assumed was Tomato's trainer, and it was even worse when he heard his own trainer shouting!
So he did what normal Squirtles did when they had a massive crush on a Charmander: he grabbed Tomato by her arm and ducked behind a nearby basket of tomatoes.
Just in case their trainers were out to separate them.

Romano looked at Antonio, almost in shock. Lovable? Antonio thought he was lovable? What did he mean by that? And..Just what did that bastard think he was doing by giving him a ring??? And what did Antonio mean by 'cute'? Romano blushed.
"Y-you..." Romano stammered, what could he say. He looked at the ring, a Tomato ring (Could Antonio read his mind???). "You like me?" Was the only thing that he could say. He had so many other things he wanted to ask, like 'A ring?' or 'What are you doing? Proposing or something?' or even 'Yes!'...but all that came out of his mouth was 'You like me?'. He felt like an idiot.
Tomato followed Felicidad when he pulled her behind the basket. She understood what was oging on, her trainer had come by and was angry. And there was that man from this morning there as well. Tomato didn't want to be seprated from Felicidad just yet. She knew that it would happen, after all, her and her trainer, Romano, didn't ever stay in one place for too long, but she would like a little, or a lot, of time with Felicidad.
Why did her trainer have to hate towns? What if this was where Felicidad lived?

Antonio's mind kind of short-circuited for a moment there. (It tended to do that a lot.) But it was just that Antonio wasn't expecting Romano to just stand there and ask if he liked Romano. Romano punching or headbutting, cursing or threatening him, that he was expecting. But not a Romano who sounded like he couldn't believe that Antonio liked him. Because that answer was just as obvious as Antonio was oblivious.
"Of course I do, Roma! I've always liked you, didn't you know?"
Now would be an appropriate time for a hug. Y'know, since Romano wasn't kicking or punching him or anything. So that's what Antonio did.
"Do you like the ring, Roma? It reminded me...It reminded me of you!" Realization finally dawned on Antonio. So that's who he was reminded of each time he saw the tomato ring. It was funny how he didn't immediately think of Romano, because Romano had been on his mind the whole day, even before they saw each other. But well, that was typical Antonio.
Felicidad knew he couldn't hide from the trainers forever. They'd come looking, worried sick. But he really wanted to spend some time with Tomato! And from what Felicidad could see, it didn't seem like Tomato's owner was too fond of his Antonio...he wasn't too sure.
But that didn't matter! Felicidad had always been a romantic at heart, and if Antonio yelling his head off at him later meant time with Tomato, it was worth it.
He turn to Tomato. With a series of "Squirtle squirt squirt," he told Tomato to trust him, and he'd grab all the tomatoes she'd care to eat from all the stalls, and he even knew where they'd find a great view of the lake and fireworks to go off this evening (or so he'd heard from his owner).

How would Romano have known that Antonio liked him? Antonio never acutally showed anything like that. From the time they met, Romano had noticed that Antonio always seemed to dote on Feliciano. How was he suppose to know that Anotion acutally did like him? At least...Romano hoped that Anotino was telling the truth.
"You've never acted like you liked me before." he commented. Then he felt Antonio hug him tightly. It was nicer then the last hug...there wasn't a Charmander inbetween them, this time. Romano knew that even if he did try, he wouldn't be gettig out of the hug anytime soon.
"How the hell did a tomato ring remind you of me?" He growled. How did that even make sence to anyone?
Tomato listened to Felicidad, and nodded her head. With a reply of 'Char-Char-mader-Chhar-mader-Char' she told him that she'd trust him, and would like to see the place that he was talking about. And, well, the tomatoes would be nice as well.
She knew that she might not have much time to spend with Felicidad, and her Romano would probably be annoyed (but not mad...She didn't think Romano could get mad at her. Other, yes, but her?), but it would be worth it.
"Char-Char-Chamander' she said, which meant 'let's go'.

Antonio laughed, relieved that Romano still wasn't kicking him away after he hugged him. Romano's words didn't seem to spit out fire anymore, so...maybe that meant he was forgiven? Even a little? He sure hoped so.
"Well, maybe it's because you never stuck around long enough to see," Antonio said with a bemused smile, and ruffled Romano's head, narrowly avoiding the curl. "But I really always have."
"Ah, how did it remind me of you? Well look at it, Romano! It's a cute tomato! Don't you see the resemblance?"Antonio's voice was tinged with mirth.
"...And it's something I'd never trade for the world." Antonio pulled back and set the ring still in his palm on tip of Romano's nose.
So perfectly kissable. And he still hadn't noticed the missing Pokemon.
And so Felicidad wanted to make sure that tonight would be one of the greatest nights that the two Pokemon would ever experience. He tried to live up to his promise, nicking from food stands to share with Tomato and small, shiny trinkets from the prizes section of game booths, before leading Tomato out to the lakefront, where candlelit boats were being floated by delighted children. If Antonio was right, this area was the choicest spot to watching the fireworks bloom in the night sky.

Romano frowned, annoyed about still being called a tomato. Or as cute as one. Tomaotes weren't fucking cute! They were tastey, and good to eat...but how the hell were Tomatoes cute? He soon too fucking soon felt Antonio pull away from him after saying something cheesy. He then felt Antonio putting the ring on his nose. Romano reached up and picked it up, holding it in his own palm. His fingers quickly curled around it making a fist.
"You bastard! Quit saying I look like a tomato!" He shouted, waving his fist, the one with the ring in it, in the air, as if he were going to punch Antonio.
Romano also wondered, in the back of his mind, where Tomato went
Tomato had followed after Felicidad, wanting it to be a good night, as it might be one of their only nights together. It all was going to depend on when Romano wanted to leave. When they got to the lakefront, she noticed that it really was beautiful, and the fireworks (whatever those were) would probably (hopefully?) look nice.

"Don't deny it, Roma~!"
Antonio just couldn't stop smiling as he dodged Romano's halfhearted punches. This was the Romano he knew and remembered. The one he always held a special place for, never forgetting about him even after all days gone by and they hadn't seen each other. But now wasn't a time to reminisce. Romano was with him once again, and now was a time to make new memories, right?
He took hold of Romano's hand, tugging him the in direction of the heart of the festival.
"Come on, Romano! There's a game over here that lets you throw all the tomatoes you want at other people, and I've been dying to try it!"
Even though the night was only starting for Antonio, for Felicidad, patiently waiting with Tomato for the fireworks show, it had been a really good night as he now sat on a picnic table, surrounded food and a pretty Charmander. Leisurely, he bit into random roasted vegetable he had picked from the surrounding pile, and asked Tomato (in poke-language, of course), "Are you from around here?"

"I don't look like a Tomato!" he yelled at Antonio. Well, at least he now knew that the older boy didn't change at all sence he'd been gone. He went to say something else when he felt Antonio take his hand and start pulling him away. He heard a Antonio go off about some game that involved throwing Tomatoes.
"Wait! Quit pulling me, bastard!" He tried to get his hand back, "Why do you want to throw tomatoes?" That didn't make much sence to Romano...tomatoes were for eating! though, eating them off each other's bodies wasn't so bad... And speaking of Tomatoes....where was Tomato? He did a quick glance for her as Antoino pulled him away.
Tomato sat on the table, munching on a tomato (her favoirtie) waiting for the fireworks. She answered Felicidad in Poke-language, "Not really. My trainer and I travel around, so I'm not really from around anywhere."

Antonio paused for a second. Why did people here throw around tomatoes just for fun?
"Well, I guess it's how they celebrate tomatoes here. It's all the rage, and everyone's doing it! Wouldn't want to miss out. And besides, tomatoes taste better when they're all over you, right? Now let's go!"
Antonio wasn't paying much attention to his words, too much in hurry to get to the tomato-throwing booth. Because if he had noticed, he'd say meant that in a totally non-perverted way. Tomatoes were good. Romano was good. Both of them together just meant double the good-ness, right? Right.
And as for Felicidad, watching the boats lazily drift over the water, he suddenly perked up when he heard Tomato say that she traveled, and in Poke-language, answered, "What a coincidence, I travel around, too!"
Maybe if they played their cards right, Tomato and Felicidad wouldn't have to be separated....

Romano's face turned red, and then white, and then it went back to being red. Did that bastard just say...he did! He struggled to get out of Antonio's hold...he didn't like that idea! And no! He didn't want Antoino licking things off of him...not at all...!.
"Let go of me you peverted bastard!" He screamed. He didn't care if it wasn't suppose to be perverted, that was just sick! He couldn't belive that Antonio would even suggest it! well...maybe he could. "H-How could you even say that,you...you perverted asshole!"
And when Felicidad told her that she perked up. And then answered using that language that only pokemon undstood. "Really? That's so cool that we both travel. Though, it is a lot of walking around."
She was happy, maybe she could find Felicidad's trainer and see if Romano would travel with him...or her.

Antonio felt Romano's hand trying to jerk away from his grip.
Now what did he do?! He was just trying to show Romano a good time around, not wanting to waste this amazing festival that they just happened to stumble into, being in town right when it was taking place.
Antonio turned around, worried. "What's wrong now?"
Really. He was genuinely confused. Romano had just been okay a few seconds ago! Was he talking about Antonio?! He hadn't said or done anything to deserve being called a pervert, had he? He hadn't touched much anything besides his hand! And okay, maybe had a few hugs, but they were all innocent!
((I feel bad not extending on the Tomato and Felicidad, but I'm running into a writer's block on them. DD: I'm sorry!))
