Sighing relieved, Ludwig reached the town he was looking for. It was getting dark outside and he heard there were quite a few aggressive Pokemon lurking in the bushes here. He observed the town for a moment, it was quite peaceful here. But this wasn't really the reason why he was here, he heard about a Miltank farm that was being bothered by Houndooms and he wanted to check it out.
Ludwig didn't spot any Houndooms on his way here, surprisingly. He wanted to see one with his own eyes, not feeling satisfied with pictures and pixel images. It was not to catch one but mainly to observe. Not that he wouldn't give it a try if he could though. Knowing the wild animals only attacked at night, he made sure to arrive just before the night would fall. Now he still had to find the address... He grabbed around in his pocket, taking out a small paper with the address he was looking for. He looked up towards the houses and the many farms that were scattered around. This could take a while.
((Anyone is free to help poor Lud out/bother him!♥))

Antonio had to admit, Hillseid was a pretty picturesque town, if you ignored that tension and foreboding feeling that drifted in from the distance. It really was quite different from home, which had gentle, unsloping lands that ran to the sea. Here, he could see the majestic mountains creep towards the sky and houses dotting the edges until it couldn't follow the mountain any longer. This town was quiet and demure, while his was rambunctious and lively.
It was especially pretty basked in the light of the setting sun, tinging everything golden against the orange, purple, and darkening blues of the sky. And the whispering breeze made everything really nice, but Antonio just couldn't help not noticing the way everyone was hushing up and pulling their children and Pokemon into their homes. The sky was really lovely! Didn't they want to see it?
Antonio managed to grab the attention of a local woman briskly walking back to her home while dragging her heavy groceries by tapping her on the shoulder. He offered to carry her bags if she'd tell him why everyone was retreating back into their homes.
From what he heard, the town was often the target of dangerous wild Pokemon. Especially this poor Miltank farm nearby. Houndooms would terrorize the Miltanks, terrorizing the poor things, and interfering with the making of its delicious milk. The farmer was really distraught, but no trainers would come around town to help, since it was pretty far off the path.
Well that honestly didn't sit too right with Antonio. He'd hate it if wild Pokemon terrorized his farm back home! Thankfully, only relatively docile ones resided near him, but he couldn't just sit here while those Houndooms ran wild.
When he inquired of this farm's whereabouts, the lady said down the street, take a left, and take a right. He definitely couldn't miss it.
And without a second of hesitation, he jogged down the street, oblivious to the fact that there were actually a couple farms scattered down that area, and well, he wasn't really quite sure exactly which Miltank farm it was.
((I'm sure dear Antonio would like to help you, Ludwig. Or you know. Be as helpful as he can be. :D))

Ludwig started walking, it was better then to stand still after all. Nothing will be done if one would just stay in the same place and doing... Well, nothing. He gave another look at the address on the paper, memorizing it with ease. Folding the paper neatly and putting it back in his pocket he walked towards the farms, planning on just asking around if he couldn't find the place himself.
As he noticed before, there were a lot of farms and among those it seemed as if breeding miltanks was preferred. He checked the first few miltank farms, sometimes needing to walk over to get a better look and getting snarled at by the pokemons that guarded the place. (And of course apologizing for disrupting the peace to the few people that came out of their houses just to call him mad.) Most of the farms earned enough to upgrade their fences and such to keep the wild pokemons out, and Ludwig figured the one he was looking for didn't have any of that. He sighed, this search was getting him no where and he had, he checked his watch, exactly 46 minutes left to find the farm before it was too dark.
Deciding to ask a local citizen, or at least someone who was still outside, he noticed a tanned man across the street. Even though the other seemed to be looking for something as well, he observed, it still wouldn't hurt to try. Walking over to the man, he greeted the other. "Excuse me!" he said to catch the other man's attention. "I am sadly a bit lost, since I've never been here before." he instantly cut to the case, not wanting to bother the stranger for too long. They had their own things to do after all, such as hiding for the houndoom's, Mightyena's and Ursaring's that would walk around town at night. Yes, Ludwig had done his research before hand, making sure to know most details about the town and the creatures he would most likely meet down here.
((Fabulous~ :D He would definitely appreciate the help.))

Okay. So Antonio had just ran down the street, taking a left and...then taking a right? Or was it a left? Uh. Well, he was pretty sure taking a right was what that lady had told him.
It was becoming pretty clear that the citizens of the town didn't take the wild Pokemon lightly. The fierce Vulpix and the occasional Ninetales didn't take too kindly to him as he walked by their farms, baring their teeth and growling at him as if he meant them and the Pokemon they were guarding over some sort of harm. He didn't doubt they'd have given chase if they weren't behind high, tough fencing.
And it was also becoming pretty clear that night was descending very quickly, the orange in the sky giving way to dark purples and navy. He could even see some stars dotting the sky.
Antonio tore his eyes away from them, however, when he heard someone calling out to him. He looked over to a tall, muscular figure approaching him.
"Ah, you're lost, you say? That's funny, because I'm pretty lost myself," he said, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.
Antonio looked up and down the farms lining the path. None of them seemed to be the one he was looking for. Yep, suffice to say, he was definitely lost.
Well. It still wouldn't hurt to ask where he was going, or what he was looking for.
"Uh, where were you heading off to?"

Now having his hopes shattered, Ludwig sighed. " Ah, that's a problem..." he thought the other was a local, but apparently not. A citizen would surely know their way around their home town, wouldn't they? At least he did. Otherwise he would've been in a lot of trouble back when he was still a child, getting lost in the mines is the last thing one wanted.
Hearing the others question, Ludwig decided to respond to the curiosity of the other man. Maybe he could help him after all? He seemed to be a bright enough person, he might've seen the farm Ludwig was looking for and remembered it. " I was searching for a miltank farm that had trouble with wild houndooms, most likely one without an upgraded fence." He grabbed around in his pocket for the address, hoping it would help out the other with, maybe, knowing what place he meant and how to get there. "This is the address if you'd like to know." he pointed out, unfolding it and showing it to the other man.

A Miltank farm? Wild Houndooms? That sounded an awful lot like that one Antonio was looking for...There couldn't possibly be two farms in need of dire help, could there?
"Well that's great! Because I was kind of looking for the same exact thing."
He took a gander at the slip of paper in the tall man's hand. Had he seen those numbers before, jogging up and down this road (and believe him, it was a pretty loooong road)? He peered over to the nearest house, looking for a house number. It might have been visible ten year ago, but now, now the numbers were peeling and being overrun by vegetation, making them hard to discern. So much for that plan.
But now that he thought about it...He did see one that didn't look too terribly guarded. The place looked like it was on its last legs, the wooden fence was dilapidated, and the only thing on lookout was a tired old Poochyena who looked like it was ready to turn in for the night rather than stay up and protect the farm.
"Wait! Come with me. I think I know what you-- what we-- might be looking for."
He just hoped it wasn't too far down the road. The sunlight had all but nearly vanished.

Ludwig was surprised and relieved when the other said he might know the place. He might not be certain, but it was that or nothing. There weren't any villagers left outside to ask, so this could be his last chance for today. Nodding he checked the time to see how much they had left before it was too dark, 20 minutes or so. If it wasn't too far away they could easily make it. " Alright, let's see if that is the one. I'll follow after."
The other sounded like he knew what he was talking about, so he decided to trust him with showing the way. Who knows, they might find a local that would still help them at this time of the day.
Ludwig didn't want to seem too hopeful on this though, seeing as nothing had been going well today. His entire schedule was delayed! Originally he planned on arriving at the farm around a hour early so he had enough time to check out the surroundings and figure out were the houndoom would enter the field first. Sadly, the town was a maze and here he still was, 20- no 18 minutes before it was fully dark outside.
((sorry for the late orz I kept getting distracted grah ): ))

((It's all right. C: ))
Antonio didn't remember the farm being too far away, so he started leading off down the deserted road in a brisk walk. Until he suddenly realized--
"I never actually got your name! I'm Antonio. From Miliumis!" And he flashed the other man a cheerful grin.
They continued on. The farm seemed to be further than he remembered! So he started jogging. And when he still hadn't reached it, he started sprinting.
By the time he had to stop, panting and out of breath, night had already fully fallen.
"I," he said between pants, "honestly don't remember it being this far."
But before Antonio could get another word out of his mouth, he heard a howl that made his hair stand on end. He slowly swiveled his head around, and right in front of him was a wild Houndoom, its teeth bared and growling lowly.
And it wasn't just one. There were more.
Looks like the Houndoom found them first.
((pffff I find this thread especially funny because of the soon-to-come football match. But uh, okay, I'll shut up now.))

Glad the other wasted no time to lead him the way he followed after, hoping that was the right farm. Hearing the other introduce himself he blinked, well this man was rather cheerful. That was a good thing though, at least Antonio wouldn't end up picking a fight with him.
" I apologize, it must've slipped my mind." he frowned, how could he have forgotten to introduce himself? "My name is Ludwig, it is a pleasure to meet you as well." he nodded, offering the other a small smile, which you could barely call one, and continued following after him.
Noticing the other starting to walk faster, then jogging and then running he ran after him. Was he trying to ditch him? he wondered why the other suddenly started running, but as soon as he looked up at the sky he noticed why the other started hurrying. Fantastic. Halting when the other did, Ludwig didn't need to catch his breath himself, he was used to running and jogging every morning so this was no different to him.
He was starting to doubt the other, this wasn't exactly 'near by' but just when Ludwig wanted to ask him if he didn't make a wrong turn somewhere he got cut of by a howl. Turning around to where Antonio was looking there appeared a pack of houndooms, ready to attack them. Well, he supposed this was better then having the houndooms near the miltank farm at least.
Letting his growlithe Blackie out he turned his head towards Antonio to talk to the other, not taking his eyes off the slowly nearing houndooms. " It seems we'll have to fight them, do you have any pokemon...?" he questioned, he knew he couldn't beat the houndooms alone. He might be able to take out one or two, but not all... 4 of them? It seemed the other two houndooms had already left to attack the miltank farm. He honestly didn't expect there to be that many, he could definitely not handle this one alone.
((sorry for my random disappearance, I sucks :D; and Ludwig is totally going to catch an octopus pokemon and make it choke Antonio for beating him :| /shot))

((I AM NOW GOING TO CATCH AN OCTILLERY OR SOMETHING. And name it Paul. Soon. You've convinced me of it.))
"Of course, I never leave home without it," he said through gritted teeth, not daring to make any loud noises or sudden movements, nor did he dare take his eyes off of the Houndooms. These sly Pokemon could attack any second, now..."We better finish this quickly, or else those Miltank might be in for a rude awakening."
These Houndoom looked something fierce, and Antonio had no doubt that if they were ever going to tail those Houndooms that chased off into the direction of the farm and save those Miltank, they had to end this. And fast. He sure hoped that Felicidad was up to snuff for defeating the Houndooms along with Ludwig's Growlithe Blackie.
Without a second to spare, Antonio reached for the pokeball containing his Squirtle Felicidad, and just as the burst of light from its release faded away, the Houndooms lunged, one aiming to take a bite out of Ludwig's Growlithe and the other shooting a stream of Ember at Felicidad. Apparently, they thought attacking the two separately would mean no chance for teamwork.
Antonio quickly called Felicidad to unleash its own stream of Water Gun to combat against the fire. Water collided with the hot flames, causing steam to arise, temporarily hindering clear vision.
